Senator Katherine Klausmeier’s office stated that House Bill 1362 passed the Rules Committee today and is being forwarded to a standing committee for their consideration. With a near unanimous vote in the House of Delegates(-1), Marylanders can be confident that this is a Law worth having. But, HB1362 must come out of Committee to the Senate floor in order to have a vote in this session. We cannot allow this bill to languish for another year. We have too many families who could benefit from an option that already exists in over 20 other states. Contact your legislator today to tell advise him/her we want HB1362 passed now!
